Hello my friends,

I want to take a moment and talk a bit more about Pluto in Capricorn.

The last time Pluto was in Capricorn was from 1762-1778 and now will be there from 2008-2024. During these time periods government and business will undergo dramatic changes and when we look back at the historic events that happened last time we get an idea of the magnitude of changes we might expect during this time. America herself is going through a Pluto return - but it's not just about revolution, it's about the innovative ideas that created a whole new type of government, "for the People by the People" - that was unheard of, in a Monarchy driven world. As we look around we see governmental changes starting and happening today and we will see individual changes in our personal and professional lives - so it is important to plan ahead to protect our resources and career interests.

At this time, we need to realize that everything is changing and we must adapt and change along with it, if we are to flourish - and not just surface changes, but deep changes in attitudes and understanding. Pluto is often represented by the Phoenix - that mythical bird that consumes itself in flames and is reborn from it's own ashes. Similarly, America (and everyone else) will not only be given the opportunity to reinvent themselves, but we will be urged to do so - often times through discomfort. If a change needs to be made and we resist, we will likely find that situation gets worse and worse until we finally accept the necessary changes - and these changes are not all "you at the mercy of externals". For many of us these changes are important to our own process - to either help us take back a part of our lives that we've been allowing others to handle for us or to finally accept the help that the Universe is offering (even if it's not the kind of help we thought we wanted) or even to get out of that comfortable situation and try something new.
