Hello my friends,

What can I say? Many of us are feeling the current planetary aspects quite strongly - and it's interesting that our society has other things that focus us to the tune of the stars... holiday time while the Sun is in social Sagittarius and the turn of the New Year in serious Capricorn. Capricorn inspires us to get back to work, but it also inspires us to make resolutions about ourselves that Capricorn's energy can help us with. One would think that with Mars (the planet of energy and action) and Mercury (the planet of communication) both retrograde, that it would be easier to stick to our resolutions - and for some of us, it is. For others, that internal dialog, running down a check list of things we need to do and things we can't do, along with that pent up internalized energy is making it hard to stick with our resolve.

If you are in the second group, I think there is hope. This Monday will be another circle day with the Sun conjunction Venus - we are likely to feel good, no matter what we do and it's a great day to start new things. On top of that, Mercury will go direct this week, early on the 15th (hopefully getting us out of our own heads to some extent) and Saturn will go retrograde on the 13th (which will turn that responsible energy and willingness to work inside, where we can work on ourselves).

If you haven't been able to stick to your resolution, I urge you to join me in an attempt to start again this Monday. The reason I say this is because there are such great rewards in store for those of us who do the responsible thing - we need to tackle these big hairy problems and get them off our backs, and then we can move on into the new. It's like cutting the ties to the old - we want to be new, we need to do what needs to be done. We can do it! It will be easier than expected - and one way or the other, it will get done and we can stop thinking about it - YAY!

Saturn will be retrograde until May 30th, and it will retrograde back into Virgo for one last nudge. During it's time in Virgo it will make it's last opposition to Uranus - that aspect we talked so much about over the last year or so. Mars will go direct on March 10th and I hope it doesn't take that long to get our energy back. The best news at the moment is for beautiful Pisces, as Jupiter is about to enter Pisces, where it will shine is expansive, jovial, lucky light on those with Pisces in their charts. If you have a dream, Pisces, this is the year to think about it making it happen.

Since it is still early in the month, I will again remind you of Susan Millers monthly forecasts: http://www.astrologyzone.com/forecasts/ and Karen Bishop has issued a new Wings: http://www.emergingearthangels.com/2010/wings1.1.2010.html

Hoping all is well with you, my friends. Peace!

Carole
