Hello my friends!
When I look at the calendar, to see what's ahead for us,
my eye just gets stuck on February 7th, although the 1st will
have it's problems as well. Let's start with the 1st.
When we look at the calendar, we see the Moon enters Gemini
on the 1st - so communication will be highlighted and it is
likely to be emotional communication with the Moon. Uranus
is well aspected, so change is in the air and Neptune is below
the numeral, so there might be some extra sensitivity. The
only aspect showing is Mars opposing Venus, which can be very
passionate - and that can be a good thing or a bad thing,
depending upon where we focus that passion. We can expect
passionate or very emotional reactions from people - and some
of us have been seeing that start over the weekend - and we
may have difficulties with assertiveness (too much or too
little) and cooperation.
Through the weekend, the Moon in Cancer might help us adjust
to emotional issues that arise with the start of the month,
but then Monday, the Moon moves into bold and assertive Leo,
followed by the Full Moon on Tuesday the 7th.
Full Moons are often tense to begin with - that is the time
when the Sun (our Self) and the Moon (our Emotions) oppose
one another. With the Sun in surprising Aquarius and the Moon
in big bold Leo, that in itself would make me think it could
be a unpredictable day. Add to that Saturn turning retrograde
- Saturn is the restrictive force of responsibility and that
energy is starting to slow down as it gets ready to turn inward
on the 7th. If you have been putting off health things, you
will likely find the need to pay more attention at this time.
After all, what is our inner responsibility? To take good
care of ourselves, right? Mars in Virgo - also retrograde
- will surely second that emotion!
At the same time lovely Venus moves into Aries on the 7th.
That utterly female Venus is not usually very comfortable
in the very masculine sign of Aries and we could see some
bumps in our personal relationships. I mean, Venus wants to
soothe and comfort, while Aries wants to get out and do! Women
may be very focused on what it is they wish to accomplish
and they are not likely to be easily dissuaded from their
goals at this time. It may well tell extra effort to reach
compromises at this time.
I have a feeling that many of us will have something new
come to light in the first half of next week, around that
Full Moon - something that changes the face of that big issue
we've been working on. After that, the Moon moves into Virgo
and we begin to focus on the details and our health - getting
back into balance hopefully on the 10th with the Libra Moon
for much of the weekend. Monday the 13th will be a circle
day, but notice Pluto doubled above the numeral. More change
- or perhaps inner transformation to the new circumstances.
Mercury in a harmonious trine with Saturn helping us get down
to business and focus on our responsibilities.
The week of the 13th looks great with 3 Circle Days in it
- hopefully helping us start to implement changes. The following
week will be busy with President's Day, Mardi Gras on the
New Moon and Ash Wednesday on the 22nd. A Box day on the 23rd
as Mercury opposes Mars, then it looks like relatively smooth
sailing for the rest of the month, with the 25th being another
Circle Day.
It is important to remember, at this time, what this year
is all about. I was struck a couple times this weekend with
brief bits of TV I saw - one show was about Nostradamus and
his predictions for Dec. 2012. The History Channel said he
saw it as a choice - a time of deciding what path we as a
group will take. I also caught a few lines from Keanu Reeves'
"The Day the Earth Stood Still" - the part where
they talk about humanity's course and our right to continue
to exist. They said "it is only when a society is on
the precipice - on the brink of disaster - that they finally
find the Will to change and grow." That is what this
year is all about. We will make a choice - and that choice
will be "Are we willing to put in the work and to accept
the responsibility to make a world worth living in?"
Are each and every one of us willing to get up and do the
work required to make an emotionally satisfying world for
us all? Are we ready to put down blame, put down complaining
and complacency and just get it done? Whether it is in business,
personal or politics - are we ready to just do the right thing?
I think we are... and I am very much looking forward to what
we can create!
Wishing you all the best my friends! Peace!
Carole
