"What's new?" you ask? You know, we love this calendar and use it every day - so when someone suggested adding the Meteor Shower Peak information to the calendar,we thought "Great! We'll never miss it again!" This year you will find Meteor Shower Peak dates (we listed 2 days for each one) showing like a holiday on the calendar grid. Just a little reminder for the best days to look up and star gaze. While adding that information, we came across Apogee information - it seems 5 planets will be closest to Earth in their orbits this year and we just had to include that information, too. We still have our electronic versions available - we got great response for our smart phone and day planner versions, so we will do them again for 2012. This year we will provide the day planner version both with and without instructions. We are still on Facebook, but this year you can look forward to more free charts being shared there. We posted a lot of Chinese New Year and Ophiucus information there, too, so please Like our Facebook page to join in the interesting astrological discussion going on as we reach the end of the Mayan Calendar. If you are not into the social media thing, you can sign up for regular weekly emails about upcoming astrological events from our Publisher, Carole Cherry. Finally, Carole has added a regular radio appearance to the schedule. In addition to the weekly spot - Mondays at 9:20am on "Mornings in Sonoma with Ken Brown" - you can catch Carole on the Thursday closest to the New Moon at 2pm on "Que Pasa Sonoma" with Leslie Tippell and Ken Brown. You can tune in locally on 91.3 FM in Sonoma or "Listen Live" on the web. Late breaking news... Planetary Calendar shirts, mugs, mousepads and so much more are available through zazzle! |
